At The Outlet, Inc. is beyond proud to celebrate Coach Lay and Coach Monte, who were recently invited to present a special dance piece as part of the powerful dramatic production Silence is NOT Golden with the Emerson Theater Collaborative. Their contribution was featured in the Unforgettable Live Theater Series in Sedona, AZ, September 12–14, 2025.
A Powerful Production
Silence is NOT Golden, written by Anita Yellin Simons and directed by Camilla Ross & Kaycee Palumbo, is a raw and emotional story exploring the realities of domestic abuse, self-esteem, and resilience. Through movement, choreography, and performance, Coaches Lay and Monte added a unique layer of expression to the production, bringing the story’s themes to life in a deeply moving way.
Why This Moment Matters
To have their artistry showcased on such a meaningful stage reflects not only their professional growth but also the heart of what we stand for at The Outlet, Inc.—using the arts as a voice for healing, awareness, and empowerment. Coach Lay and Coach Monte’s work was a true embodiment of dance as storytelling, and we are so proud to see their gifts shine in collaboration with such a respected theater company.
A Community Achievement
This milestone is more than just a highlight for our coaches—it’s a celebration for our entire community. Their involvement represents the kind of opportunities and recognition we strive to create for artists and youth alike. It shows how dedication, creativity, and passion can open doors to unforgettable experiences.
