It's SHOWTIME! emPOWERed Play

We recently celebrated Coach Monte’s birthday in true ATO INC fashion — with a surprise pickup game where the message was simple: It’s Showtime.

What unfolded was more than a celebration. It was community in motion.

Friends, family, youth, and supporters came together on the court to laugh, compete, encourage one another, and most importantly—play. From fast breaks to friendly matchups and unforgettable moments in the paint, the day captured exactly what we believe sports should be: inclusive, joyful, and empowering for all abilities.

This event marked the first of many monthly pickup games hosted by At The Outlet, Inc., as we continue building intentional spaces where people of all ages and skill levels can come together, move their bodies, and release stress through positive play. These gatherings are designed to strengthen community connection, promote physical wellness, and create safe, structured opportunities for recreation and mentorship.

Launching Soon: emPOWERed Play Sports

We are excited to officially introduce emPOWERed Play Sports, a growing initiative under At The Outlet, Inc. dedicated to expanding access to inclusive recreational sports programming.

emPOWERed Play Sports will serve as a consistent outlet for:

• Structured pickup games and open play sessions

• All-abilities participation (youth, teens, and adults)

• Positive coaching, mentorship, and leadership development

• Community engagement through sport and movement

• Safe, welcoming spaces that promote confidence, teamwork, and mental wellness

  
  

Through this initiative, we are creating more than just games—we are building a culture of belonging where every participant is encouraged to show up as they are, grow through play, and experience the power of movement as expression.

Why This Matters

For many participants, access to safe and consistent recreational sports is limited. emPOWERed Play Sports bridges that gap by providing structured opportunities that prioritize inclusion, encouragement, and community connection over competition alone.

We believe sports can be a powerful tool for transformation—helping participants build confidence, develop leadership skills, and form meaningful relationships that extend far beyond the court.
