ATO INC Celebrates Our First-Ever 602 Day!

What an incredible experience! This year, ATO INC was honored to participate in our very first 602 Day celebration, representing the heart, creativity, and community spirit of Phoenix along the historic 16th Street corridor.

Throughout the event, we welcomed visitors into our space, provided tours of our facility, shared our mission, and highlighted the many emPOWERing programs that make ATO INC unique. From education and arts to leadership development and community engagement, it was a wonderful opportunity to show what makes our organization tick and the impact we strive to make every day.

At exactly 6:02 PM, the fun officially kicked off as our Silent DJ Party got underway! Guests grabbed their headphones, selected their favorite music channels, and hit the dance floor. Some danced for a song or two, while others stayed to boogie woogie until they simply couldn't dance anymore. For those who preferred a quieter activity, we also offered 602 Day-themed coloring pages and a gaming station, giving participants of all ages a chance to relax, express themselves, and join in the celebration. Whether dancing, gaming, coloring, or simply connecting with others, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

To give credit for this successful evening, we received an unexpected invitation for a promo video from a representative from District 4 Councilwoman Laura Pastor's office stopped by to visit. She toured our facility, learned more about our programs, and even filmed a promotional video highlighting our organization's contributions to the community and our participation in 602 Day. We were honored by their visit and grateful for the opportunity to share our story with an even broader audience.

At ATO INC, we believe in creating opportunities that empower youth and families through education, arts, leadership, wellness, and meaningful community connections. Events like 602 Day allow us to celebrate Phoenix while building relationships with neighbors, supporters, and future partners who share our vision.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the City of Phoenix for selecting ATO INC to represent Phoenix this year on 16th Street. It was a privilege to showcase our organization and contribute to a citywide celebration that highlights the people, businesses, and nonprofits that make Phoenix such a vibrant place to live, learn, and grow.
