Meet our Classroom Pets.
Our animal friends play an important role in bringing learning to life! As part of our Animal Science curriculum, students are introduced to a variety of pets that help them explore topics such as pet care, habitats, nature, and species classification.
Our current lineup includes water turtles, tortoises, a 30-gallon freshwater aquarium, and a friendly bearded dragon—each with their own unique features and needs. These animals have joined us through personal hobby collecting, generous donor gifts, or rescues, making them not only classroom companions but also part of a larger story of care and compassion.
Students enjoy hands-on experiences during presentations, developing responsibility and curiosity while gaining a deeper appreciation for the natural world. And we’re growing—rabbits will soon be hopping into our program to expand the fun and learning!
