🐾🎓 Big News: Coach Monte aka Dr. D. Little is Headed to Vet School Prep! 🎉🩺

We are so proud to announce that Coach Monte — affectionately known in the lab as future Dr. D. Little 🐶🐾 — has been officially accepted into Arizona State University’s Online Bachelor of Science in Applied Biological Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine!

That’s right — Coach Monte is taking the next powerful step toward becoming a veterinarian, combining his love for animals with a passion for science, wellness, and purpose-driven care.


👨🏽‍🔬 What is Pre-Veterinary Medicine?

This competitive degree pathway helps students prepare for vet school with strong foundations in biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy, nutrition, and animal behavior. Students like Coach Monte will also gain clinical experience through internships and intensive summer lab sessions on ASU’s Tempe campus.


🌍 Why We’re Celebrating:

  • He’s paving a path in animal science while still serving our ATO youth and families.

Safety & Supervision Statement


At The Outlet, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering creative and academic enrichment programs for K–12 youth through our private microschool, ATO Academy, and community-based arts programming across Phoenix. We serve students through flexible, small-group instruction on-site and structured mobile programs at schools, churches, and community venues.

We are not a licensed daycare, charter, or residential care provider, and do not offer unsupervised care. All staff and volunteers are background-checked and trained in youth safety, supervision, and emergency protocols. All educators and coaches are required to hold valid fingerprint clearance cards.

​

Our team includes certified educators, trained coaches, teaching artists, and volunteers dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive learning environment for all students, including those with IEPs or 504 plans. We are proud to be an accredited Out-of-School Time vendor with AZ CASE (Arizona Center for Afterschool Excellence).
