At The Outlet Inc. Receives City of Phoenix Arts and Culture Grant to Launch AMPlify the Arts – Global Celebration

At The Outlet Inc. is proud to announce that we have been awarded a $4,500 Project Support Grant from the City of Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture. This investment supports the launch of our first annual AMPlify the Arts – Global Celebration, taking place June 19–20, 2026.

This grant represents more than funding. It is a meaningful step toward building a sustainable, community-centered arts initiative that uplifts youth voices, celebrates cultural diversity, and expands access to creative experiences for K–12 students and families across our commUNITY.

AMPlify the Arts is designed to become an annual staple of At The Outlet’s community outreach efforts. Through this initiative, we aim to create consistent opportunities for young artists to explore, express, and share their understanding of the world through the arts.

As part of this vision, ATO Academy students have spent Quarter 3 “traveling the world” through an immersive educational experience focused on global cultures and diversity. Each week, students explored different continents, learning about traditions, history, artistic styles, and cultural expression unique to various regions of our planet.

These experiences have directly inspired student-created projects across multiple disciplines, including visual art, music, and film. Students have translated their learning into creative works that reflect both their new knowledge and their personal perspectives on culture and identity.

The AMPlify the Arts – Global Celebration will serve as the culminating showcase for this journey. Community members will have the opportunity to see, hear, and engage with student work, alongside live performances and cultural presentations that bring these global inspirations to life.

The two-day event will include a ticketed Silent DJ Party on June 19, followed by a free, all-ages Global Celebration Festival on June 20. Together, these experiences are designed to bring people of all backgrounds together in a shared space of creativity, learning, and connection.
