At The Outlet, Inc. Makes Its Christmas Parade Debut

APS 38th Electric Light Parade | City of Phoenix

WATCH OUR BEHIND THE SCENES RECAP VIDEO HERE!

This holiday season marked a major milestone for At The Outlet, Inc. as we proudly made our Christmas parade debut at the APS 38th Annual Electric Light Parade in partnership with the City of Phoenix.

With a group of 50 participants, our entry was a true community collaboration—filled with movement, music, mentorship, and holiday magic. The gratitude, excitement, and pride shared by our students, families, and partners is something we truly cannot put into words.

50 Strong. One Powerful Moment.

Our parade presence brought together students, families, and mentors across multiple roles, including:

  • Barrel train riders

  • Cheer squad

  • Dancers

  • SPARX Mascot Debut

  • Banner and auxiliary team

  • Percussionists

  • Parent chaperones and volunteers

Each participant played a meaningful role, contributing to a unified performance that celebrated youth leadership, teamwork, and creative expression under the lights of downtown Phoenix.

This experience wasn’t just about performing—it was about showing our students that they belong on big stages, in public spaces, and in citywide traditions.

Behind the Scenes: Preparation & Partnership

Bringing a parade entry to life takes preparation, support, and community. We are incredibly grateful to the partners who helped make this experience possible:

  • AAI, for generously allowing us to host a tech rehearsal at their facility

  • Pizza Shack, for hosting our tech rehearsal dinner and feeding our growing crew

  • Our amazing parents and volunteers, who showed up with flexibility, care, and commitment

  • VGC Young Adults, who served as chaperones, mentors, and partners—walking alongside our youth every step of the way

These behind-the-scenes moments were just as powerful as the parade itself, reinforcing the village it takes to support youth-centered programming.

Captured Live & Remembered Forever

We were honored to be featured during the ABC15 live marching band entry, capturing our students in action as part of this iconic Phoenix event.🎥 Watch the ABC15 live entry here!

We also created a special behind-the-scenes recap video, highlighting rehearsals, preparation, and the joy that carried us through the night.🎬 Watch our recap video here!

These videos reflect the heart of At The Outlet—process, people, and purpose coming together.
