Our 2nd Opportunity at the City of Phoenix Youth Development Partner with a Principal Program Luncheon at GCU

Last week, At The Outlet, Inc. had the privilege of attending our second City of Phoenix Youth Development Partner with a Principal program luncheon at Grand Canyon University. This annual gathering brings together community partners, school leaders, and nonprofits to celebrate collaboration, innovation, and impactful programs for K–12 students across Phoenix.

Reflecting on our journey since last year, this partnership has grown significantly. Our work with ASU Prep Pilgrim Rest Campus allowed us to engage with over 80 students from January through May, providing enrichment opportunities both on and off campus. Many of these students have PLUGged in with At The Outlet beyond the school program—attending our summer camps, performing at halftime shows for the AZ Rattlers, participating in this year’s Fall Festival, and preparing to shine in the upcoming APS Christmas Parade.

This collaboration also contributed to At The Outlet earning a three-year accreditation from the AZ CASE program and led to new partnerships with MPS and WESD school districts, further expanding our reach in supporting youth development and creative expression. Additionally, our work was featured in an in-depth focus video created by the City of Phoenix PR Department, highlighting the benefits and impact of the Partner with a Principal program. Looking ahead, we are thrilled to announce our newest partnership with Laveen Elementary School District at Trailside Performing Arts Academy, where we are currently in the planning stages of offering a dance program for K–8 students. This opportunity will provide more young learners with access to creative expression and performing arts programming, continuing our mission to inspire, educate, and empower youth throughout the Phoenix area.
