Building Creativity and Community: ATO Inc. Partners with ASU Prep Pilgrim Rest K-8

We are thrilled to announce our community outreach partnership with ASU Prep Pilgrim Rest K-8 Charter School for their Fun Fridays Program! Starting January 10, 2025, our talented coaches will be on-site every Friday from 9–11 am, guiding students in a variety of clubs focused on performing arts and creative expression.

Our Clubs: Unlocking Talent and Creativity

Through this partnership, we’re offering students the opportunity to explore and develop their passions in:

  • Drumline and Auxiliary: Rhythm, teamwork, and precision.

  • Pom/Cheer/Step: Energy, spirit, and coordination.

  • Audio and Video Production: Hands-on training in creating media content.

  • Using Your Voice: Acting and singing to inspire confidence and self-expression.

  • Dance: Exploring creative movement and hip-hop choreography.

An Immersive Introduction

To kick things off, we presented an immersive exhibition in December 2024, introducing students to the clubs and igniting excitement for the year ahead. The students’ enthusiasm and curiosity have fueled our team’s excitement to deliver meaningful and engaging sessions.

Kicking Off 2025 with Purpose

As we start this program in January, our first project will be preparing the students for a mini showcase for Black History Month. This special tribute will honor the life and legacy of Quincy Jones, one of the most influential figures in music and entertainment history.

Why It Matters

This partnership reflects our commitment to nurturing creativity and confidence in students while providing a platform for them to explore their talents and cultural heritage. We’re honored to be part of this journey and look forward to seeing the students shine in their showcase and beyond.

Join Us on This Journey

We’ll share updates and highlights throughout the school year as we continue to foster creativity and community engagement at the Pilgrim Rest campus. Stay tuned for more as we celebrate the transformative power of the arts in education.

Here’s to a fantastic start to 2025 and a year full of creativity, collaboration, and growth!
