I wanted to thank you again for participating in last year’s Partner with a Principal program and for the incredible partnership you’ve built with ASU Prep Pilgrim Rest K–8 Charter School. The work you’ve done through the Fun Fridays Program is such a powerful example of how community connections can inspire and empower students. From what I saw on your website, your team’s dedication to offering clubs in Drumline and Auxiliary, Pom/Cheer/Step, Audio and Video Production, Acting and Singing, and Dance has brought such energy and creativity to the school community. Your focus on preparing students for the Black History Month showcase honoring Quincy Jones is a beautiful example of combining arts education with cultural celebration. I also have to say, when I watched the recap video you posted on May 16, I got tears in my eyes. This is exactly what it’s all about: creating opportunities for students to shine, find their voice, and feel supported by their community. Your commitment to nurturing creativity, confidence, and cultural pride in students is truly inspiring. It would be a wonderful opportunity to highlight the impact you’ve made and show other business and community leaders how they can get involved. Thank you again for your time, talent, and dedication to the students. - Melissa B. (City of Phoenix Community and Education Engagement Manager)
